MIGRATION
Move your account to a new state the right way. Understand your tier, your costs, and the timing — so your transfer actually goes through.
What Is Migration?
State Migration lets you move your entire account to a different state. It exists so players can escape dead servers, join stronger alliances, or reunite with friends — but the game deliberately controls it to stop strong accounts from flooding the best states.
Migration Score
When migration opens, every player gets a Migration Score — the system's rating of your account strength. It uses your PEAK development, not current display power. You cannot lower it by destroying troops.
Identity Tiers
Your Migration Score sorts you into one of four tiers. This single classification controls your cost, how many slots you can take, and whether you need approval. Thresholds shift per server group — these are official examples.
Migration Tickets
Migration costs Passes, and the free source gives only 1 per week (5,000 Glory Badges). The Elite path is nearly a full year of weekly buying. If you wait until migration is announced, you're already too late.
How to Obtain Tickets
The Three Phases
From announcement to free movement, migration windows follow the same predictable three-act structure.
- Browse destination states
- Check your tier & cost
- Contact target President
- Presidents send invites
- Higher tiers apply
- 24h expiry
- 20min reject cooldown
- Regular moves freely
- Others still need invite
- Open slots only
Requirements
Migration silently fails if you miss any single requirement. The most commonly forgotten one: you must leave your alliance first.
Strategy & Tips
Successful migrators don't panic when the event starts. They prepared weeks ahead. The five habits that separate clean migrations from failed ones:
Common Mistakes
Most failed migrations aren't about weak accounts — they're about preparing too late or forgetting a technical requirement at the last second.
Migration Reports
Before each migration window, the game publishes an official Migration Assessment for every server bracket — telling you each state's classification and how many slots are open per tier. Here's how to read one.
How States Are Classified
Each state is graded by a system evaluation that weighs the overall strength of all its survivors, the collective strength of its Elite and Advanced players, and large-scale battle data like State Ruler. The result is one of three designations.
