Here is the thing most players get wrong, and it is the same mistake that cost people the whole of Season 2: your first week determines your last week. Season 3 is built on compounding loops. Every day your Biotech Lab is behind is a day you are farming lower-tier dinosaurs, which means fewer Cretaceous Scales, which means an even slower Biotech Lab. That gap does not close on its own.

This guide is organised so you can read the first three sections before the season starts, then come back to the rest as each system unlocks. Use the feature list on the left to jump between topics — each panel is self-contained so nothing else on the page distracts you while you read.

Meet the three new S3 heroes

Three S-rarity seasonal heroes release across the first six weeks, each with their own battle pass and an exclusive signature weapon. At Lv.175 they are near-identical on raw stats — pick by role, not by numbers.

Ancient Dinos opens every Sunday at 12:00 Apocalypse Time. One ancient beast lands on the state map, the whole server piles onto it, and everything you earn is decided by the damage you put in before it drops.

    The one thing to know
Attacks are unlimited, so the ranking is decided by how many marches you are willing to send. Line up healing and rally slots before 12:00 on Sunday.

    GUIDE-09

    Ancient Dino (Sunday World Boss)

Every Sunday, 12:00 Apocalypse Time. The single most missable event in the season.

Ancient T-Rex world boss roaring in a jungle clearing at dusk
Sunday 12:00 AT · Ancient Dino world boss

A massive dinosaur spawns and the entire state attacks it with no attack limit. On an active server the boss dies in roughly 5 to 15 minutes. Logging in at 12:05 is a genuine risk of missing it entirely.

    The five bosses

The boss rotates weekly across five species: T-Rex, Triceratops, Pterosaur, Ankylosaurus and Dimetrodon. (Some regional versions render the last two as Ankylosaurs and Demitradon.)

    Titles — read this carefully

Each species carries a unique profile title. The top 3 damage dealers on the first-ever kill of that species on your server receive it permanently. Once a species has been killed for the first time on your server, no title is issued when it comes around again.

So if you are chasing a title, the play is to find out which species your server has not yet defeated and save your buffs, best hero and strongest march for that week specifically. Every other week is a farming week.

Getting the most damage out of the window

    • Park your strongest march near the spawn before the timer hits zero. You want to be swinging in the first seconds, not marching.
    • Hold your buffs until the last moments before spawn. Attack buffs fired five minutes early are wasted — there is no "later" in a fifteen-minute event.
    • Virus resistance caps your contribution. A neglected Biotech Lab plateaus your damage regardless of troop power.
    • Bring the burst hero. Of the three seasonal heroes, Liliana (Wings of Dawn) is built for high single-target burst and is the strongest pick for a short damage window.
    • Cannot solo? Join a rally. Rally participation still counts toward your personal fossil drops and rewards.

    Rewards

    PlacementWhat you get
Top 3 on first killUnique server-wide title, plus extra chests, speedups and diamonds
Roughly top 200At least one fossil, Tactical Plug-in Chests, speedups

Rewards arrive in your in-game mail. Even a mediocre damage run is worth logging in for — the fossils are the point, and missing weeks back to back is what actually stalls your album.

    GUIDE-13

Dino Rescue and the Black Market Guardian

The Season 3 evolution of the Yeti system.

Survivor riding an armored raptor mount through the jungle
Rescued dinosaurs become mounts and Black Market guardians

Instead of hunting wild creatures, you intercept armed Predator Squads transporting dinosaurs and take the cargo.

    • Targets: Predator Squads, levels 1–200
    • Limits: 2 kills per day Monday–Saturday, 5 kills on Sunday
    • Drops: seasonal resources, Ancient Dino Eggs, blueprints, Hero EXP, Pine Cones

    Sunday: Black Market Guardian

Up to level 350. This is a rally target — it is not soloable by anyone, and it is not meant to be.

Ranking is by damage dealt, but the important mechanic is statewide achievement rewards: as the state collectively pushes the boss further, rewards unlock for everyone, not just top damage. Exclusive equipment fragments, orange hero fragments, recruitment tickets, fuel and Dino Feed.

This changes the incentive completely. Holding back your hits to protect a placement actively costs you, because the statewide thresholds pay more than the ranking spread does. Push participation in state chat, help fill rallies, and treat it as a cooperative event rather than a competitive one.

    GUIDE-14

    Dino Egg Defense

The Season 3 version of Zombie Siege Defense.

Fortified jungle base at night with a watchtower guarding a nest of glowing dinosaur eggs
Defend the eggs · Season 3's siege-style event

Waves of dinosaurs assault your headquarters and you defend. Compared to Zombie Siege it is tuned harder: more burst-damage enemies, stronger elite units, and much less forgiveness for a poorly built troop composition.

Prioritise completion over ranking. Completion rewards substantially outweigh placement rewards, and maximum clear pays out 14 Golden Wrenches — the highest-value single payout available from a repeatable event this season. (Some community sources translate this reward as "Golden Keys"; it is the same item under a different localisation.)

Hatch of Legends is the season companion track. You hatch a dinosaur and raise it by feeding: pinecone feed costs 100 per feed, and premium dino feed packs speed the same track up. The buff scales with level, so growth is the whole point.

    The one thing to know

    GUIDE-20

Hatch of Legends — Live Rules

Choose one species, finish five refreshed tasks each day, and grow it for temporary season power.

Spend Pet Feed to choose a T-Rex, Triceratops or Ankylosaurus egg. Feed then accelerates growth, while five time-limited tasks refresh daily and supply more feed.

    SpeciesProgressionSeason result
    T-RexEgg → juvenile → adultT-Rex vehicle skin at adulthood
TriceratopsEgg → juvenile → adultTriceratops vehicle skin at adulthood
AnkylosaurusEgg → juvenile → adultAnkylosaurus vehicle skin at adulthood

All three choices follow the same rule set: growth grants attribute bonuses and adulthood unlocks that species' special vehicle skin. Both the bonuses and skin are removed when Season 3 ends. The live progression screens place the skin unlock at Dino Egg level 16.

    The one thing to know
Species is a cosmetic commitment; daily tasks are the real decision. Pick the skin you like, then protect your five-task streak because missed refreshes do not wait for you.

    GUIDE-10

    Fossil Album

A 20-slot collection track fed almost entirely by Sunday Ancient Dino participation. Structurally it is the Season 2 Ice Pit Fishing Index with new art.

Museum wall of illuminated dinosaur fossil display cases, some slots filled and others dim
Twenty slots · every Sunday either fills one or banks eggs

Completing the full album pays out orange hero fragments, exclusive equipment fragments and a large stack of Ancient Dino Eggs.

The part most players miss: there is a second progress bar running alongside the 20 slots. Every fossil piece you collect — including duplicates — adds points to a milestone track that unlocks reward tiers at set thresholds, paying out resource bundles, blueprint chests and speedup packs long before the album is full. You are being paid the entire way, not only at the finish line.

Duplicates are never wasted. Any fossil you already own converts directly into Ancient Dino Eggs, which feed the Bio Institute Shop. This is why every Sunday run is productive regardless of outcome: you are either filling a slot or banking shop currency.

    GUIDE-11

    Bio Institute Shop

Open Saturday and Sunday only. Currency: Ancient Dino Eggs. 14 refreshes per weekend.

Underground bio-institute shop vault stocked with glowing dinosaur eggs and hero fragment crystals
Weekend-only vault · walk in with eggs, walk out with hero fragments

This is the highest-value place in the season to convert eggs into power, and the failure mode is spending badly rather than spending too little.

    Buy priority

    1. Exclusive equipment fragments — hardest to obtain anywhere else, so they carry the most marginal value
    2. Orange hero fragments — core long-term progression
    3. Badges — useful, but obtainable from Glory Chests and Trade Hubs, so lowest priority here

    Refresh discipline

The stock is randomised. Fourteen refreshes sounds generous and disappears quickly.

    • Scan the initial inventory fully before refreshing anything
    • Refresh when the board is genuinely low value, not when it is merely not perfect
    • Do not burn ten refreshes on Saturday morning hunting one item
    • A bad purchase costs you more than a missed one — eggs you did not spend are still eggs

Weekly rhythm: farm eggs Monday through Friday, enter the weekend with a stockpile, evaluate before buying. Arriving at the shop with no eggs makes the refresh limit irrelevant.

    GUIDE-12

    Hatch of Legends

The most F2P-friendly system in Season 3 and one of the largest power gains available to a non-spender.

Cracking dinosaur egg glowing in a tactical incubation chamber climbing to level 30
One dinosaur · thirteen weeks · +30% troop attack at max

Choose one dinosaur, raise it to level 30, and gain +1% Troop Attack per level — up to +30% at max.

    Choosing your dinosaur

T-Rex, Triceratops or Ankylosaurus. All three give identical bonuses. The choice is purely cosmetic — pick the one you want to look at for thirteen weeks. You are locked to one species for the season.

    Feeding it

    • Pet Feed / Dino Feed — hatches the egg and pushes growth stages. This is your speed of progression.
    • Pine Cones — enhance dino specialization. This is your power scaling.

Five limited-time daily tasks award Pet Feed. These are the primary progression driver for the entire system and they do not carry over. Missing a day of tasks is a permanent loss of growth. Set a reminder if you have to — this is the single easiest thing to fall behind on because it never feels urgent on any given day.

    Milestones

    • Level 16: unlocks an exclusive vehicle troop skin for your chosen species. One skin only.
    • Level 30: +30% Troop Attack, the cap.

Everything here is season-limited. Both the attribute bonuses and the vehicle skin are removed when the season ends. That is not a reason to skip it — a 30% troop attack bonus across thirteen weeks of PvP is enormous — but it is a reason not to treat it as a permanent investment.

    Trade Hub

Capture map hubs for alliance-wide purchase discounts and owner rewards.

Trade Hubs are map objectives that decide who controls the season economy. Alliances capture them in recurring contest cycles, and the holder keeps the benefit until the next contest.

    • Captured hubs grant alliance-wide purchase discounts.
    • Owner-exclusive rewards go to the controlling alliance.
    • Contests repeat, so a lost hub is never permanently lost.
    The one thing to know
A hub is worth more than the fight it costs — the discount applies to every member, every purchase, for the whole holding period.
    GUIDE-15

    Trade Hubs

Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11:00 Apocalypse Time. Three hub tiers.

Jungle trading outpost at dusk with lanterns, alliance banners and diamond crates
Highest-value alliance objective · pre-stage or arrive to a fight

If your alliance ignores Trade Hubs, you are handing free diamonds to alliances that did not. This is the highest-value alliance objective in the season.

    How they work

Trade Hubs are capturable structures. Hold one and it generates diamond tax envelopes distributed to your alliance, and unlocks an exclusive shop.

Week 1 is state-only. From week 2 the hubs open to cross-state competition, and the PvP intensity rises sharply.

    The shop

Everything costs diamonds. Stock includes hero fragments, badges, plug-in chests, steel, speedups and power cores. The conversion rate from diamonds to power here is far better than any standard source, which is exactly why the diamond-saving advice in GUIDE-02 matters.

    Capture strategy

    • Pre-stage troops before the window opens. Marching after 11:00 means arriving to a contested hub.
    • Assign roles in advance: rally leaders, reinforcement fillers, a hub manager who controls access settings.
    • Rotate reinforcements so the hub is never briefly undefended — snipes happen in exactly those gaps.

    The access-control meta

Alliance leadership controls who may use a captured hub, and the timing of that decision is where most of the value sits.

    • First 30–60 minutes: alliance only. Your own members shop first at full availability.
    • After that: open to the public. Every outside player who spends diamonds in your hub generates tax revenue for you.
    • Once cross-state opens: an open hub means you are collecting tax on enemy state players' diamond spending while fighting them elsewhere on the map.

A busy hub is a profitable hub. Advertising your open hub in state chat is not a joke strategy — traffic is literally the revenue model. The most common Trade Hub mistake is not losing the fight, it is capturing a hub and then leaving it locked down all session, generating nothing.

    Clash for Glory

Alliance vs alliance. Monday's pick makes you the attacker; Glory Missile included.

Clash for Glory is alliance versus alliance. On Monday you choose a rival alliance: the alliance that picks becomes the attacker, the alliance that was picked defends.

    The one thing to know

    The one thing to know
If you cannot solo high-tier dinosaurs, join rallies. Joining a stronger player's rally awards you the same glory as leading one. There is no penalty and no reason to hold back — an unspent attempt is worth nothing.

Note that Dino Egg drops are flat across every tier — 150 regardless of level — while Fern Leaves and Scales scale steeply. If you are farming Predator Squads for eggs specifically, the lowest tier you can clear reliably is the efficient choice. If you are farming for building materials, push as high as your power allows.

    6. After a rescue, Rescue Alliance members send Scouts to treat the Spinosaurus — each treatment shortens healing and it gifts back, up to 10 gifts per event.
    7. Completing State Tasks during the event rewards the whole State.
    8. Survivors are ranked by total transporter damage; ranking rewards arrive by mail after the event.
    9. When the event ends, Predator Squads stay in the jungle and the daily limit returns to 2.

Dino Rescue runs on Sundays. You clear caged dinos across the jungle for seasonal resources, and the payout scales with the dino's level.

    • Lv.110–200: 5 kills pay out that Sunday.
    • Lv.310–350: 10 kills pay out that Sunday.
    • Same level spawns many times — extra kills past the cap give no reward.
    • Alliance Targets and State Targets are tracked separately, and damage rankings decide personal placement.
    The one thing to know
Spend your 10 rewarded kills on the highest band you can actually beat — a Lv.350 clear is worth far more than a Lv.310 one, and the cap counts kills, not levels. Burn the Lv.110–200 five on whatever is closest, then push the high band.

Dino Rescue — Live Event Rules

Transporters hit durability directly, while rescue progress rewards both the finishing team and the wider state.

During the weekly Black Market Auction, Predator Squads and Black Market Guardians actively attack Headquarters. Their attacks bypass Headquarters Guards and damage Headquarters durability directly. The Predator Squad daily reward limit rises to five while the event is active.

    • Defeating a Predator Squad can reveal a Black Market Guardian.
    • The team landing the final blow earns the mailed Discovery or Kill Reward.
    • Defeating the Guardian rescues an injured Spinosaurus.
    • Rescue-alliance members can send Scouts to shorten its recovery; up to 10 recovery gifts can be claimed per event.
    • State Tasks reward all survivors, while personal ranking uses total damage dealt to transporters.
    The one thing to know
Participation has two layers. Join the finishing pushes for team rewards, but keep dealing transporter damage throughout the event for your personal ranking and statewide task progress.

Dino Egg Defense is the Season 3 rework of Zombie Siege Defense. It is an alliance-wide siege: waves of dinos hit every member's HQ, and every breach costs you eggs you were saving for the Bio Institute Shop and Hatch of Legends.

    • Spend your egg stock before the event starts — a breach takes 5% (max 1,000) and a big bank is a bigger target.
    • Assists count, so healing rallies and helping neighbours still feeds your personal bracket.
    • Multi-kills in one wave pay bonus points; save your strongest formation for the special waves.
    • Your bracket is gated by the alliance total too — push the alliance line in chat, not just your own kills.
    The one thing to know
Empty your egg vault before the siege and hunt multi-kill waves. Personal points alone cap you out — the high brackets only open when the alliance total keeps pace.
