Tank Modification Calculator
Log sub-levels across all 49 tank modifications, and see exactly how many golden wrenches stand between you and each vehicle.
Modifications unlock in order — setting one auto-completes every earlier modification, and reducing one clears everything above it.
How the Tank Modifications Calculator Works
This tool tracks golden wrench spending across all 49 tank modifications in Last Z: Survival Shooter and totals it against the 70,700-wrench cost of maxing every one. Log your progress on each mod in sub-points (each mod has a max of 5, 8 or 10 depending on its tier) and the calculator works out spent, remaining and how close you are to unlocking each of the four vehicles.
How tank modifications actually unlock in-game
Modifications are gated by vehicle level and unlock strictly in order — you can't skip ahead and commit wrenches to a higher mod before the ones beneath it are finished. This calculator enforces the same rule: setting progress on a mod fills every earlier mod to max automatically, and pulling a mod below max clears any progress you'd logged on mods above it, with an undo toast in case that clears something by accident. Each mod also belongs to one of four vehicle eras — Cheetah, Hercules, Destroyer and Destroyer-EX — and finishing enough mods in an era is what unlocks the next vehicle.
How the wrench data was collected and verified
Every mod's level, tier, tier percentage, max sub-points and total wrench cost was recorded straight from the in-game Modifications panel on our HQ35 account and cross-checked screenshot by screenshot. Vehicle unlock levels and per-era wrench totals aren't typed in separately — they're calculated live from the same 49-row dataset, so the era groupings and the 70,700 grand total can never drift out of sync with the per-mod numbers. Costs verified in-game, August 2026.
Cards vs table view
Cards view groups mods by vehicle era with collapsible sections, useful for working through progression in order. Table view lists every mod with sortable columns (level, name, era, cost, progress, spent) — better for scanning the whole list at once or finding a specific mod fast.
Frequently Asked Questions
06 entriesIt tracks golden wrench spending across all 49 tank modifications in Last Z: Survival Shooter, grouped by the vehicle era each mod belongs to — Cheetah, Hercules, Destroyer and Destroyer-EX — and totals how many wrenches you still need for each vehicle unlock.
Maxing all 49 modifications costs 70,700 golden wrenches total. Each individual mod costs 5, 8 or 10 wrenches per sub-point depending on its tier, and you fill it in sub-points rather than one lump sum.
Modifications unlock sequentially by level — you can't fully commit to a later mod before finishing the ones below it. This calculator enforces that: entering progress on a mod auto-fills every earlier mod to max, and reducing a mod below max clears anything you'd logged above it, matching how the in-game panel behaves.
They're the four vehicle eras tank modifications unlock, in order. Each era's block of mods must be finished (or at least reached) before the next vehicle becomes available — the calculator groups the 49 mods into these four eras so you can see exactly which vehicle a given mod is gating.
Every mod's level, tier, tier percentage, max sub-points and wrench cost was recorded from the in-game Modifications panel and checked against the totals in this tool — vehicle unlock levels and per-era wrench totals are derived directly from that dataset rather than typed in separately, so they can't drift out of sync with it.
