PvP & Trap Accounts — Win Fights You Shouldn't

Understanding faction counters, scouting properly, and managing your hospital makes the difference between winning fights and losing troops you spent weeks training.
The trap account section at the bottom is for more advanced players — it's a specific build strategy that lets you win fights against much stronger opponents. But start with the basics first.
Faction Counters
The three factions counter each other in a cycle: Wings of Dawn beats Blood Rose. Blood Rose beats Guard of Order. Guard of Order beats Wings of Dawn.
This means your faction choice matters when you're deciding who to attack. Hitting an account that counters your faction while they're prepared is asking for heavy losses. Hitting an account you counter makes the same attack much more efficient.
Always check what faction an enemy is running before committing to an attack or rally. Scout report shows faction. Power alone does not tell you how a fight will go.
Scouting Properly
Send a scout before any significant attack. Always. A scout report tells you troop count, troop tiers, hero formation, faction, and whether they have an active shield. Power number alone is misleading — a player with 200M power built entirely on buildings and research is very different from a player with 200M power built on maxed T10 troops.
Check kill counts in the scout report too, not just total power. High kill count means active combat experience. Low kill count on a high-power account sometimes means a farm account or a heavily built but PvP-inexperienced player.
During SVS on Saturday, hospital capacity doubles. This is the best window for aggressive PvP. You can afford hits during doubled hospital that you couldn't afford any other day.
Hospital Strategy
Your hospital capacity determines how many of your wounded troops you can save after a battle. Troops that exceed your hospital capacity die permanently. This distinction matters more than most players realise early on.
During SVS on Saturday, hospital capacity doubles. This is intentional — the game wants fights to happen on Saturday without permanently destroying accounts. Use this window for your most aggressive PvP actions. You can afford to take hits during doubled hospital capacity that you couldn't afford any other day.
Trap Accounts
A trap account is built to look weaker than it actually is, luring stronger players into attacking and then winning the fight. It's an advanced strategy that requires specific hero builds and troop composition, but it's genuinely effective.
The core idea: keep your visible power low by avoiding building upgrades that show high power numbers, while stacking defensive stats (HP stacking through Military Strategies and Peace Shield research) and a strong hospital to recover wounded troops.
When a stronger player attacks thinking it's an easy target, they run into much higher effective HP than expected and take heavier losses than anticipated. Your hospital recovers most of your troops. Their dead troops stay dead.
This is not a beginner strategy. Build your main account properly first. But if you're at a point where you're regularly getting targeted by stronger players, a trap account build can shift that dynamic completely.
