Stores — Where Your Currencies Actually Matter
Updated 7 Aug 2026 · 3 min readThere are more stores in Last Z than most new players realise, and each one uses a different currency. The confusing part is figuring out which ones are worth your time and which currencies to prioritise spending. I've seen players hoard shop currencies for months thinking they're saving up for something valuable, when actually the items reset weekly and they're just losing free resources.
Here's a straight breakdown of what each store offers and what actually deserves your currency. No fluff, just what to buy and what to skip.
Arena Store
The Arena Store is one of the most important daily activities in the game. Do your Arena fights every single day — it takes two minutes and the cumulative rewards are genuinely significant over weeks and months.
The Arena Store uses Arena points earned from fights. The priority purchase here is orange equipment — specifically orange fragments. Every day you can buy a piece that contributes toward crafting orange gear for your heroes. Over weeks and months this adds up to meaningful gear progress without spending real money.
After orange equipment is covered, power cores from the Arena Store become the secondary priority once all five of your main heroes have orange gear across all four slots. Until then, orange fragments every single day.
Glory Shop
The Glory Shop refreshes weekly and uses Glory currency earned from various competitive activities. The items worth buying here change slightly based on what your account needs, but the priorities stay pretty consistent.
Versatile orange fragments are top priority — buy these every week without fail. Honor chests and golden wrenches are solid secondary purchases depending on what you need. Component chests when available are useful for gear crafting progression.
The Glory Shop resets, so unclaimed currency doesn't roll over indefinitely. Check it weekly and spend down on the priority items. Don't let Glory sit there unused.
Merit Shop
The Merit Shop has two items that consistently matter. Orange equipment — one piece available per week. This is the weekly purchase you should never miss. It's free progress toward getting your heroes fully geared.
Power cores come second — buy these after all five main heroes have orange gear in every slot. Until that point the orange equipment piece is always the better weekly spend. Trust me on this one, I wasted merit on power cores early and regretted it.
Alliance Store
The Alliance Store uses Alliance Coins earned from donations and alliance activity. Speed-ups are usually available here and are solid purchases. Check what your specific server's Alliance Store is offering — the stock varies and some items are clearly better value than others.
The general rule: speed-ups and resources from the Alliance Store are never wasted. Cosmetics and items you don't have an immediate use for can wait. Spend your Alliance Coins on things that move your base forward.
Event Store
Event Stores appear during specific events and use event-specific currencies. The items here tend to be the best value in the game when events are running well. Prioritise orange fragments, badges, and speed-ups from Event Stores before spending on other items. Event Store currencies almost always expire at event end — don't forget to spend them before the timer runs out.
Bounty Missions
Bounty Missions aren't technically a store but they behave like one — daily missions that give chest rewards including up to 5,000 diamonds from drops over time. Do these every day. They're quick, they're free, and the cumulative diamond income is one of the best F2P diamond sources available in the game.
Set a daily reminder for Arena fights and Bounty Missions. Two minutes each per day. Over a month that's roughly 60 orange fragments and thousands of diamonds you'd otherwise miss. The players who pull ahead F2P are the ones who never skip these.
- Do Arena fights daily without fail — orange fragments compound
- Buy orange equipment from Merit Shop weekly before power cores
- Spend Glory Shop currency every week before reset
- Check Event Store before event currency expires
- Hoard shop currencies past reset timers — you're losing free value
- Buy power cores before heroes have full orange gear
- Skip Bounty Missions — the diamond income is too good
- Spend Glory Shop currency on low-value items when orange fragments are available
