How to Actually Grow Power Fast

    Updated 7 Aug 2026 · 2 min read

Power is the big number on your profile. It tells other players how strong you are and gates certain content. And honestly, if you're sitting there wondering why your power isn't growing fast enough — it's almost certainly one of a small number of fixable problems.

Here's what actually moves the needle.

    5 SOURCES
    POWER CATEGORIES
    #1
    HQ UPGRADES
    DAILY
    COMPOUND GAINS
    NEVER IDLE
    THE RULE

FIVE POWER SOURCES — IN ORDER

    1
    STRUCTURE (HQ + BUILDINGS)CRITICAL

HQ upgrades give the biggest single power jumps. Keep it upgrading always.

    2
    TROOPSCRITICAL

Train highest available tier. Always. A full batch of T6+ adds millions of power.

    3
    RESEARCHHIGH

Runs silently in the background but it never stops compounding. Never idle the lab.

    4
    HEROESHIGH

Focus 2–3 heroes deep. Orange gear on priority heroes makes a visible difference.

    5
    VEHICLESMEDIUM

Slower gains but every level adds power. Save wrenches for Alliance Duel Day 1.

    What Gives the Most Power

HQ upgrades give the biggest single power jumps in the game. This isn't even close. If your HQ has been sitting idle for six hours because you forgot to start the next level, that's six hours of growth you can never get back. I can't stress this enough.

Troops are the second biggest source. Training a full batch of higher tier troops can add millions of power at once. The mistake I see constantly is players training low-tier troops out of habit when they could be training something much stronger. Check what your highest available tier is and train that. Only that.

Research adds up slowly but it never stops. The badge-free trees especially — just let them run. Every day they're running is a day your stats are getting slightly better for free.

Here's something a lot of players miss: hero assignment matters for power too. Your construction hero should be assigned to your build queue. Your gathering hero should lead resource marches. If you've got your combat hero sitting on a resource run, you're leaving power and efficiency on the table.

    The Daily Routine

The daily routine for fast growth is genuinely simple. Morning: start an HQ or building upgrade, start research, send gathering troops. Evening: collect resources, train troops, check events, start your longest upgrade before bed. That's it.

Players who do this every day grow at a pace that surprises people.

    What's Probably Slowing You Down

Spending resources the day before a big event. Happens all the time. Event starts, everyone's burning through their best speed-ups for points, and you've got nothing left because you upgraded a random building yesterday.

Spreading hero investment too thin. Pick two or three heroes and go deep on them. A roster of twelve mediocre heroes loses to a player with three maxed ones.

Ignoring the lab. Research is invisible — it doesn't feel like you're doing anything. But players who run their lab continuously for three months have stats that players who ignored it simply cannot match, regardless of spending.

    Do This04
    • Always have HQ upgrading
    • Train highest tier troops only
    • Assign construction hero to build queue
    • Run daily events for resources
    Avoid This04
    • Train low-tier troops out of habit
    • Spread hero XP across 10 heroes
    • Let lab sit idle
    • Spend speed-ups outside correct duel days
